An Android smartphone with an excellent processor, with Motorola recently launched Electrify model. Admirers of Motorola who have already got their hands to this device have to say that it is one of the best smartphones ever made. We usually like to see for ourselves if a product is good or bad, so, curious about the performance and other features of this device, but after the close inspection it is a very good mobile to have in hand.
Motorola Electrify smartphone is identical to the Motorola Photon 4G, in terms of design, software, performance and many more things. The only difference between the two is that the Electrify version doesn’t sport WiMAX.
The exterior of this product is very pleasant to the eye. The entire frame is made of aluminum. Holding this phone in our hands and using it to talk with friends felt very comfortable; dropping it on the floor didn’t cause much of damage, as the device looks and is solid. Something found a bit uncomfortable was the texture from the volume button; because it makes thumbs get caught in it quite a number of times. On the right sit the dedicated camera and volume keys; the left side offers the following: 1 microUSB charging port and 1 microHDMI port.

The power and wake buttons are on top of the smartphone, while the rear boasts an 8MP camera and a kickstand which is simply great; the latter comes with protection against fingerprints and offers a great deal of comfort.
When talking about operating system, the Motorola Electrify runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread; which is the latest Blur UI made by the company. This operating system wasn’t changed that much from previous versions: there are still the same widgets and icons and other options; only the visuals differ a bit, namely the way the menus look. The overall interface is slick and easy to navigate, even if you’re a beginner; everything responded quickly and worked fluidly and without lags, thanks to the built-in dual-core processor.

You’ve got the option to find yourself some docks to use this device with, docks like car docks, HD media docks, and even a laptop dock not unlike the original ATRIX 4G, but you don’t need those things.
