 This product comes with a DVD receiver, which means it plays your source and powers the speakers, the latter of which is also included, 6 of them in all including a subwoofer. The entire system is finished in black, with glossy strips for the front panels of the speakers, holding a black mesh grille along their length, hiding and protecting the drivers. The sub too is similar, and also it has the reflex port on the front panel. The speakers are slim and tall, very light weight, with the surrounds perched on a thin tubular stalk, all screwed on to rectangular bases. Speaker wires are color coded and easy to plug in to the back of the player.
The player itself looks quite sleek as must people say, with a shiny metallic strip running across the width of its fade, the latter being a surface divided into 2 sections: one bare smooth black transparent surface and another slightly recessed inwards matte surface. The volume knob is on the right, and so is power on, USB in and microphone in + line in. The back has usual connectors of 1 HDMI, 1 optical audio in, 1 component video and 1 composite video, also SCART, which is useless to Indian consumers. The USB input can play standard def, MPEG 4 simple profile, meaning DivX/Xvid and MP3s and JPEGs. Last but not least, the player can rip MP3s off CDs onto your flash drive.
